Born in Heidelberg, Germany and raised in the small eastern North Carolina town of Anderson Creek, I learned the value of hard work early – whether it was wrangling a stubborn horse on our family farm or working for a local tobacco farmer. After moving to Charlotte in 1987, I found myself drawn to the charm of its historic neighborhoods and have spent most of my time living in Dilworth, where I still reside today. My professional journey began in the insurance industry, but I found my true calling in real estate and earned my North Carolina license in 1996. Since then, I’ve helped guide hundreds of clients through their real estate journeys, with hundreds of sales across my career.
.
I’ve worked extensively with local investors and absolutely love working with buyers – especially those who appreciate a thoughtful, thorough approach. I’m known for being analytical, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to protecting my clients’ best interests. I’m also a firm believer in ongoing education and professional development. I regularly attend top-tier training events, including the CRS conference, where I once completed 27 hours of live classes in just three days! I hold multiple designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), and Military Certified Residential Specialist. With a deep focus on consumer protection and identifying risk, I work diligently to ensure my clients are informed, empowered, and protected throughout every step of the transaction. One of my proudest accomplishments was acting as a whistleblower in the North Carolina v. MV Realty case. After uncovering a predatory scam targeting homeowners, I conducted statewide research and worked with media and enforcement agencies to help stop it in NC and beyond, ultimately helping shut them down in multiple states.
.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, catching live music, and watching sports, especially college basketball. There’s a sense of connection and excitement in those moments that reminds me why I love real estate – bringing people together and celebrating their successes. If you’re looking for a seasoned, well-informed agent who will advocate fiercely for your needs, let’s connect and turn your real estate goals into reality.
