If you think cool Halloween parties are reserved for the younger set, think again. Follow the tips below and creep it real with an epic party your boo crew will want to sink their teeth into.

Decide on the Event – With all its tricks and treats, Halloween offers a variety of party options to fit any budget, space and style. Go traditional with a costume party, host a boo-zy brunch, get cooking with a chili cookoff, throw a haunted house cocktail party or treat your friends to a murder mystery dinner that will keep them guessing till the very end.

Food and Drink – Bury hunger and thirst with a scary spread of ghastly goodies. Encourage guests to bring a tasty treat or pile everyone in the kitchen and whip up pizzas, tacos, spaghetti or an array of appetizers. Raise everyone’s spirits with poison appletinis, pumpkin margaritas or graveyard shots. Bone Appetit!

Decorations – Cast a magical spell right off the bat with frightfully fun decorations. Let decor do double duty as picture locales for your best guy and ghoul pals. Arrange pumpkins, hay bales and seasonal flowers for a brew-tiful setting. Bring skeletons out of the closet and pose them in lawn chairs and porches to welcome guests, then take them inside to tickle a funny bone or two!

Contests and Prizes – Let the good times roll with games, contests and prizes all party long. If you have the space, set up cornhole, horseshoes or Bocce ball and let friends battle it out, or hang a pinata and see who comes out a winner. Ask guests to vote for best costume, most creative and scariest.

Set up Stations – Encourage everyone to mix and mingle with a variety of spaces and places to play. Define areas with music, decorations and activities. Create a food and beverage corner, find a space for guests to shake their boo-ty or head outdoors for a firepit and s’mores.

Get Help – Take your rightful place as the ghostess with the mostess and enlist help for your get together. Ask a teen looking for a few extra bucks to help pick up glasses and plates, move cars, take coats and show guests around. Save more time when you hire a bartender to mix drinks or have the event catered.

Throw an unforgettable All Hallows Eve celebration. Boo!
