Where to Start

“I’m originally from Charlotte (well, since third grade at least), and I’ve seen all of the changes and growth that this city has gone through since the late 80s.  I grew up in Myers Park, and I went to Piedmont Middle School (near Uptown) and graduated from West Charlotte High School. I was recruited and played soccer for the then nationally-ranked UNC Charlotte 49ers.

After graduation, I moved to Chicago to begin my career in management, and, in turn, my life of travel. I lived in Seattle, Hermosa Beach, and Columbus before I was recruited by Abercrombie & Fitch to head its International Recruiting efforts for its expansion across Europe and Asia. It was an offer too good to be true!

I lived in London and Munich for eight years. During my overseas travels, I met my now wife, and we now have two young daughters. Living in and traveling to so many amazing locations broadened my outlook on life and strengthened my appreciation and LOVE of my hometown Charlotte.

I became a realtor because everything about the business fits my personality and what I love.  I love Charlotte’s history and architecture, neighborhood growth, etc.  It also combines my communication skills developed from my past experiences from Recruiting and Management, as well as my patience developed from years of soccer coaching.”

Where to Find Support

“I’ve known about Savvy + Co. since it was founded and have kept tabs on its growth over the years. I really respected everything about them personally and professionally, and it was these agents who helped build Savvy + Co to what it is today.  This was why I knew that Savvy was home for me.

I joined Savvy in late February/early March of 2020. I originally received my license in 2004, but I got re-licensed just before COVID locked down Charlotte.  In some aspects, it was tough because I couldn’t meet with people or shake hands, but I took that time to get my business organized and focused on social media, marketing, processes, systems, etc.

One reason that I chose Savvy + Co. was our staff support in regards to marketing (such an amazing team), BIC support, mentorship programs, and the size of the firm. I also knew that I didn’t want to be just a number in a large national firm. As an agent, you are your own boss running your own company, however, I wanted to feel like I was part of a team who supported each other and were willing to help and share knowledge, which is SO true about Savvy!”

Where to Succeed

It was very important to join an agency that was highly visible and well-known in Charlotte.  Savvy + Co. is hyper-focused in the neighborhoods in and around Uptown, and its marketing is well known and very visible. They have a stellar reputation and there is a lot of industry respect for the agents that work there.

I couldn’t have gotten off to a better start in Charlotte real estate than by choosing Savvy! As a Savvy agent, whether you’re new or a top producer, they give you so much support. Each week we have a ZOOM meeting where we focus on various industry topics that help us to stay fresh.  Our marketing team is truly top-notch and an amazing resource to have on your side while growing business. Our BIC is always there to answer questions, and she’s so knowledgeable in all areas and situations of real estate.

I love working with first-time homebuyers and people relocating to Charlotte.  I love to share my knowledge of the city with them. With my personal experiences in relocating myself both domestically and internationally, I know I can provide a different perspective and new insights from my lessons learned.

I’m still in my first year back, but I’m shooting for the stars! My goals are set high!
