Where to Start
“I grew up on the coast of North Carolina. I spent the majority of my 20’s and 30’s traveling and moving to various places across the country before finally coming “back home” to North Caroline seven years ago. I had been living in Asheville when I met the woman who is now my wife. She is a civil engineer for the city of Charlotte and I knew the city was a high-demand market, so it was an obvious choice to head to Charlotte.
I have family members who have been in real estate for a long time. It’s always something that piqued my interest. I knew I wanted to dive into this profession at some point. It was always just a matter of timing. I eventually received my real estate license in 2016.
I’ve always held customer-oriented jobs. My career varied from being part owner of a bar in Savannah to a director of special events and weddings.
In a way, helping someone plan and execute a wedding is comparable to working with my homebuyers. They are both milestones in life that take planning and preparation. The only difference is that instead of helping couples plan the perfect day, I’m now helping clients find the perfect home.”

“I joined Savvy + Co. in January 2019. The company had just started a new agent mentorship program and was hiring new agents. I only had my license a year, but I was so eager to be in the program.
