Lansdowne

Lansdowne is truly the best-kept secret of Charlotte. This neighborhood that was built in the 1960s exemplifies the best of 60s architecture. Perhaps no other Charlotte neighborhood has a greater number of mid-century modern homes. These homes abound with vaulted ceilings, tons of glass, and open floor plans. The modern homes are mixed perfectly with classic traditional ranches, split levels and a few two stories.

Lansdowne is a large neighborhood that is bordered by Sardis Rd on its North and Providence Rd to the South. It is minutes to South Park, Cotswold Mall, and Strawberry Hill shopping centers. It is also located near many of Charlotte’s well loved private schools. One the neighborhood’s favorite perks is the Levine Jewish Community Center, which features a great health club and lots of non-denominational educational and social events.

In no other neighborhood can you get this much for the price. Homes are situated on huge lots and are wonderfully landscaped. This hood appeals to folks that want high style or low ranches… combined with all the convenience that South Charlotte offers.
