Back in 2004 Charlotte came on my radar. I was living in Boston finishing a graduate degree at Boston University and working in a Violin Shop. I LOVED IT! But my family had moved to Uptown Charlotte and couldn’t stop talking about this wonderful Charlotte which I soon dubbed “their Disney City”. Tree lined clean streets, landscaping, fountains and art everywhere. Charlotte offers an affordable cost of living, great weather and just a few hours from the mountains and the beach. Oh yeah, AND the Carolina Panthers went to the Super bowl that year. Of course! I remember in January 2005 a specific phone conversation when they were grilling on their warm sun drenched balconies and I told them to wait for me! I packed up and it was Charlotte or Bust. I moved to Uptown Charlotte, I got my real estate license in 2005 and the rest is history.
I was able to be a part of a great real estate market before the financial meltdown. I weathered the recession with determination and success. I learned a lot from it and wow I had to work hard. I’m as strong as they come now that we are back to a vibrant healthy market. I sell real estate all over the Charlotte area but it was natural to be immersed and become an expert in the Uptown real estate market and lifestyle as well as the closely surrounding historic neighborhoods. I currently call charming historic neighborhood of Commonwealth Park home and in my free time I can be found playing cello around town and in local symphonies. The arts are a huge passion of mine and Charlotte continues to deliver.
