Native Charlottean, Kim Parati has watched her hometown evolve into a city large enough to support a thriving cultural, arts, entertainment and sports scene, yet small enough to maintain its incredible southern charm. Kim attended both Myers Park and West Charlotte High School before graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. She’s an NPR junkie, a lifelong learner and an arts and history enthusiast. Serving on the Historic District Commission allows Kim the opportunity to work with others to preserve the history of Charlotte while making room for new development. Parati is also a board member for Theatre Charlotte, a 90-year old community theatre, the oldest cultural organization in Charlotte.
When she’s not helping clients sell and buy homes, she’s spending time with her husband, Tim, and their fur baby Zydeco. Parati is a thespian who has also directed shows including, A RAISIN IN THE SUN at Theatre Charlotte, THE BLUEST EYE at On Q Productions and Oscar Wilde’s A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE at Paperhouse Theatre for which she won Creative Loafing’s 2015 Best Production of the Year!
Kim believes homes are ‘sets’ where we play out our own stories and enjoys arming clients with information and empowering them to make the best decisions. Give her a call and see what she can do for you.
